Internet disconnection on Acer Aspire 315-21

by Lynne McCormick

I have an Acer Aspire 315-21. The model is N17Q3. It was manufactured on Sept. 26, 2017. But it was bought new less than 6 months ago.

It will work fine one day, and then disconnect the next. Or disconnect when I am working online. I work online from home, and need a fix asap. I noticed on Acer's website, that the same model (and others) have questions about this issue. The problems have never been resolved.

if you want a quick fix you can buy a USB wireless adapter from

NewEgg USA site here
. I would buy TP-Link or Trend Net.

Or if you have time you can follow

this guide
and try to increase quality of wireless connection. This helped
me many times.

You also can try and update drivers

as shown here

There should be original drivers on Acer website. I am not sure who
manufactured the wireless card; I guess it is Intel or Qualcomm Atheros.

If you can get the model number from computer's Device Manager you can go to
Qualcomm or Intel's  website and look for drivers there.
