Power Socket on Toshiba Satellite

My laptop is Toshiba Satelite L50, and the power socket is broken; I bought a new one and gave it to someone to stick it into the motherboard but he made more damage. The hinge of the screen was so sticky that when using it the plastic body broke, and the new power socket was damaged again.
So here is the laptop, my screen is separated that the body and the power socket isn't even connected.
I need a practical solution, please.

Thank you

it should be easy to replace the DC jack on this laptop as it does not require soldering. You need just to unplug the old one from the motherboard and plug in the new one. Here are the instructions.
